Viviana Adela

Viviana Adela was born on February 22, 2014 at 1:30 am.  I was induced  (just like with my other two) so there were no surprises.  We dropped the kids off at a friends house in the morning and headed to the hospital with bags packed.  There was no excitement until around 11:00 pm when they broke my water. After that I progressed very quickly and only had to push 13 minutes.  Viviana is a beautiful baby.  She reminds us of how Qui Que looked but with a bow on her head.

How I looked at 9 months pregnant.

Viviana on her first day.  I am in the background enjoying my first meal after delivery.

Enrique picked up the kids and brought them to meet Viviana.  Qui Que brought me a pink rose which is he was so proud of.  He held it so much it died shortly after.

Viviana's first bath.

Viviana 3 days old.

I was trying to do a photo session with just Viviana but Qui Que wanted in.

Our precious little bundle.  We love you Viviana!

Our polar arctic winter in Iowa!

This has been the coldest, longest winter we have had so far in Iowa.  It is making our move to Texas sound very appealing.  We have pretty much spent every day inside since it is too bitter to leave the house.  Not to mention my coat has not been able to zip up for the past 3 months.  Most days have been in the negative digits but we did have one day where it warmed up to about 25 degrees so we headed outside to enjoy the wonderful weather!

This is the one day we were able to come out from our winter cave.  I think the temp got up to about 25 degrees.  It was awesome.

How we will miss our Northside neighborhood!

We don't have a sled but Enrique used the top of our trashcan and it worked great.  Qui Que loved it!

Valentina didn't know what to do with the snow.  When she would fall down, she would just lay there.  I think she had on too many layers to pull herself back up.

This is on Valentine's Day. We made sugar cookies.  Valentina was a great help.

Qui Que and his special buddy Charlie Weed.

Teeny's teeny ponytail.

36 weeks pregnant.

I brought back a fun memory from my past.  Shaving cream and food coloring in the bathtub.  Nothing beats it.

That is it for now.  Next pictures- new baby!

December in Utah

We spent the other half of December in Utah.  Here are a few pictures of our trip.  I didn't take our nice camera so all pictures were taken with my phone.  Sorry for the bad quality.

Our new little nephew, Covey with Santa Claus at the Riverwoods.

Our kids didn't enjoy Santa so much.  Qui Que ran away and Teeny screamed.

Visiting the lights at Riverwoods.

Grandpa took the kids to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point.  The kids are digging for bones in the sand.

All the nieces and nephews (so far) at Covey's baby blessing.

Qui Que with the Grinch and Santa at Curtis Family Christmas Party.

The siblings (minus Demarie) with the Covey at his blessing.

Christmas at Grandpas.  Note all the BYU shirts.

Teeny playing with Covey.
We took Qui Que and Covey to their first movie, Frozen!  Qui Que loved it.   It was  his first experience in a movie theater with popcorn and drinking lemonade.  Turns out he loves all three of those!

Enrique and I took advantage of free babysitting and decided to go back and visit the place we very first met- Starbucks!

Uncle Curtis and Teeny

Uncle Curtis took Qui Que sledding and he loved it!
