Happy #2 Enrique Jesse!

Little Enrique turned two on Saturday.  I know car party is not an original party idea but we had no choice, nothing else makes this kid as happy as cars.  Here are a few pictures from the birthday party.
Little Valentina and her new friend, Harper!

This was the invitation we sent to his friends.  I bought it on Etsy.

Decorations outside our house.

I made that birthday banner last year for his birthday.  I am sure you will see it in many more posts since I plan on pulling it out for everyone's birthday :)

The food table.

Stop light celery.  This was my favorite food at the party.

I wanted to make this great car cake.  I wussed out and made cupcakes.

As the kids arrived they could make their own lego race car to race around the track (black tape).  They liked making their race cars but didn't quite understand the race track part.

Saying goodbye to Jack.

What we have been up to lately....

When my mom was here helping with the babies she squeezed in time to make Valentina's blessing dress.  I love it!  I can't wait to take pictures of her in it.  Thanks Mom!

My mom with the babies

4th of July.  Too bad you can't see Valentina's red, white and blue outfit.  She is all scrunched up in a ball!

We went on a picnic last week.  Bad idea.  This is the only picture we took because it was too hot.  Poor Valentina is sweating to death.

I am so excited to be that cheesy mom that makes matching outfits for her kids.  My mom did it and I am going to carry on the tradition.  I made this outfit for Valentina when I found out I was having a girl.  This was Qui Que's Easter outfit and I made it to match that.  This was Valentina's first Sunday at church.

We are so happy Abuelita is here to visit.  Qui Que calls her "E-ka"

We went to Nauvoo for the pageant and festivities.  Qui Que had SO much fun!  And in case you are wondering, that is Valentina on my chest in the green pouch.

This is a statue of Joseph and Hyrum Smith.  Qui Que kept talking about the "caballos".

I loved this.  Enrique pushing Qui Que around in a handcart.

Qui Que still loves his blocks. This might be the best thing I have ever bought at a garage sale.  Here is picture of him and Enrique stacking them.  I think the count was at 23 before they fell.  When they fall, Qui Que says, "Ahh man!"
