Fall take 2!

Wilson's apple orchard.  Papi and Qui Que enjoying their apple crisps.

Raking leaves in our front yard.

I put Valentina on the bed and when I turned back around she was covered in diapers.  Apparently Qui Que was trying to change her diaper.

Our little pink elephant Valentina.

Ready for church!

This little bobbin is 4 months!  She is the sweetest little thing ever.    I would say the biggest change from 3 months to 4 months is she has become a thumb sucker!  Enrique hates it but I actually think it is kind of cute :)

Poor thing.  This happens all the time.  Am I a bad mom for making her wear them?  Don't answer that.

Qui Que and Everett at Sas Family Farm.

Here is a little sneak peak of Halloween.  The library had a costume party with the kids.  I was so excited for Que Qui to show off his costume but of course he was scared of all the kids dressed up.  He stayed on my lap the whole time!  Either way, he is the cutest little Mariachi ever!

Qui Que and Scarlett.  I love how they are both just checking each other out.

Fall!

We just love this little bobbin!

Qui Que love the pump.  He wants to put it on his "chi chis"

Valentina sporting her Hawkeye homecoming gear.

Darancou family ready for the 100th Hawkeye parade!

Qui Que  hugging Sara and Cannon at the parade.

Qui Que and Cannon waiting for the parade to start.  This is before Qui Que got scared.

Unfortunately, Qui Que didn't love the parade.  He got spooked by the animal mascot looking things walking around.  He is hiding behind Enrique in this picture and this is basically where he stayed the whole parade.  He kept saying, "no osos, no osos." Which means, "no bears, no bears".  He thought they were bears.

Valentina at the Kalona Fall Fest.

These boys are best buds.  We are going to miss the Wards next year!

I think this was definitely the boys favorite part of Fall Fest.  There was a huge container filled with corn kernels and the kids could play in them like a big sand box.  I've decided we should do away with all sand boxes and do corn kernel boxes.  So much cleaner!

Qui Que was (of course) scared of riding the ponies at first.  This guy is scared of everything.  To my surprise he ended up riding the pony.  We were so proud of him for overcoming his fears!

And..... there is no prettier Fall than Fall in Iowa City!
