I set Valentina on Qui Que's bed while I was trying to get some stuff done.  When I turned back around to check on her Qui Que had climbed in the bed and laid down next to her.   He even gave her his sticker he had been carrying around all day.  It is so sweet to see how much he loves her.

2 months & 3 months

Time goes by so fast!  I forgot to post Valentina's 2 month picture so we will just post her 2 & 3 month pictures together :)

She is such a happy smily baby!  Sweet little Valentina never starves for attention.  She gets so many snuggles and kisses from me, Enrique & Qui Que.  We are so in love with this baby!

Aunty Liser

My dear good friend Lisa came out from New York to visit us.  It was so good to see her!  Her nick name is Liser so the kids called her Aunty Liser.

We had a good time in lowa City including a chance to hear President Obama speak (pictures coming) and then headed off the Chicago.  We got to visit my dear family the Mergeles and then head down to Magnificent Mile.  Enrique stayed home with Qui Que so it was just a girls activity.  We had a blast.  Thanks for visiting us Aunty Liser!

I made this dress for Valentina out of some fabric my mom had left over in her stash.  I actually had a dress made from this same fabric.  I love blue and white stripes!

Enrique and I were so proud, we got them to smile at the same time!

Is this Heaven?

No it's Iowa. That's right. If you haven't seen the movie Field of Dreams, you are missing out. It is actually one of my very favorite movies of all time. I am a sucker for a good baseball movie and I think this is the best of them all! We live about an hour and twenty minutes from where the movie was filmed. Last week we packed the kids up in the car, took a picnic lunch and checked it out. Loved it. If you live near by, it is worth the trip. It is exactly like the movie.

Denver!

I am so bummed we didn't take more pictures in Denver! Tia, Mary- where were you in these pictures? She was probably cooking us something delicious to eat. Enrique's aunts are so generous and wonderful hosts! We have so much fun every time we stop and see them. I get to practice up on my Spanish, eat real Mexican food and this last time the Tia's even took me to Zumba!

We took a short trip out west this summer.  We stopped in Denver to visit Enrique's Tias (aunts) and then on to Provo to visit our family.  My mom got married to Tom Foster.  We were glad we could be there to see that and meet Tom.  I don't actually have any pictures of that because I was busy chasing after the kids but Kate, our family photography took some pictures and I can't wait to see them!

Since the whole family came in town for the wedding we decided to bless Valentina that same week.  This was taken in my mom's backyard.

My mom and Tom gave us their Diana Krall tickets.  The concert was at Red Butte Garden in SLC and was so fun!  We dropped the kids of at Abuelita's and had a blast.

The whole fam (except Enrique and my mom) went out to eat at Carrabbas.  This restaurant brings back memories to me.  I opened this restaurant when I was 20 and going to school at UVU.
